11 a.m.-11:30 a.m.    Pre-registration please find the organization you are walking for to turn in $
 
11:00 a.m.        Whisker Walk OPENS! Check in with Paws Awhile Booth #7 for Geo-caching coordinates!
 
11:00 – 1:00         Radio Disney Show across from white Vendor tent
    
11:15 a.m.         Blue Dog Frisbee Show – near the pond
 
11:45 a.m.                Line up for the Walk & Blessing of the Animals in front of the largest pavilion by Rev. Diane Dugan for the Blessing of the Animals.
 
NOON -                   Walk kicked off by our the Sterling Shelter’s Special Dog – Melvin  and their owners and our friends at WXLO 104.5 fm  IF YOUR GROUP HAS A SPECIAL DOG WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OR IS SPECIAL FOR SOME REASON PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WALK!!! –    in front of the largest pavilion – THANK YOU to all the people who came out to walk and support their charities! THANK YOU TO WXLO for promoting/sponsoring WHISKER WALK
 
12:30 p.m.              photo ops with  Award Winning, Nationally Known Dog Trainer Jeff Gellman, & dog  training demonstrations...
 
12:45 p.m                Sterling Shelter VA/TN/Puerto Rico Rescuers Reunion – next to large pole barn pavilion in large field next to Sterling Shelter Pavilion.
 
1:15 p.m.       Blue Dog Frisbee show – near the pond
 
2:00 p.m.                WXLO 104.5 awards the Top 5 Winners of Top Dog Photo Contest

2:30 p.m.                Raffle - 50/50 - Poop Bag entry closes

2:30 p.m.          Auction / Poop Bag and Raffle winners announced

3:00 p.m.                Whisker Walk ends - Thank you for your support on behalf of the animals you’ve helped today!

                                                         ALL DAY EVENTS:
 
• VCA Animal Hospitals –rabies vaccines, low cost micro-chipping and ask the vet booth under the center pole barn pavilion
 
• Information Booth – t-shirt sales and raffle/50-50 – near the pond under the small white tent

• Custom ID Tags available for purchase at the Sterling Shelter Pavilion (largest pole barn pavilion)– all dogs and puppies should be properly tagged in case they get lost!
 
• Poop bag raffle – deposit a poop bag and get a raffle ticket to win WIN A brand new Bissell Vacuum valued at $250-$300!
 
• Kids Area – education, fun things to do/see and make including face painting and moon bounce located near the food area
 
• Canine Carnival Contests for YOUR dog(s) in front of the Sterling Shelter large pole barn pavilion – Tennis Ball Fetch: buy a chance for YOUR dog to win a prize for YOU or your dog.
 
• Bring your pooch to the Especially for Pets booth in the big white vendor tent and let them sample premium foods from the pet buffet.

• Free doggie massages at the Sterling Shelter pavilion by Becky Ames.

• Booth #7 - Geocaching with or without your dog!  Be inspired to try it - game rules and information for the Whisker Walk Geocaching Event - The game coordinates will only be available the day of the event – Check with Paws Awhile Online for information near the pond next to white vendor pavilion

• Booth # 7 - Book signing   
 
 
 
 
• Booth # 9 The Squakheag Akita Rescue which will benefit the Akita Rescue of Western New York will be bringing the dog who was used for the "Hachiko: a Dog's Tale" movie premier featuring Richard Gere! They will offer photo's with Hachiko for a charge.
 
• Booth # 13  Hair Obsession -  Buzz Cuts or Braids - "Cuts to Benefit Canines" $10 to benefit Whisker Walk – next to the largest pole barn pavilion
 
• Fred Levy Photography - photographing and printing photos 5x7 prints – under small pole barn pavilion
 
• Booth # 11 Davis Farmland & Moo Moo the Mascot
1. Kids can have their picture taken with Moo- Moo (the Mascot).   
2. Raffling of 5 raffle passes (good for up to 4 guests each) as live  give a-ways.
3. Kids coloring pages, stickers and candy. 
4. promotional material and coupons for the adults.
5. contest entry box for the guests to sign up to win in house passes.

• Canine massages offered by Companion Kneads.  Massage Therapist Patty Sanclemente - In the large white vendor pavilion tent.

• Booth # 6 - Kids area near food area, educational fun things to do, see and make – including face painting.

• Please also check with all the different vendors and shelters/rescues for special raffles/auctions and events they are hosting at their booth. There are TO MANY to list 
 
• All sorts of yummy food & drinks for people AND PETS!
 
• Boston Animal Rescue League bring the MARV Mobile Adoption Rescue Vehicle- take a walking tour through the vehicle that assists with disaster rescues and their adoption unit!
